The Big Green Review

Funny game, although it was basically just pressing the same thing over and over again. The graphics were, well, black, green and white for the most part. The sound was pretty much non-existant for most of the Flash. Also, isn't this more of a game than a movie?

Well, I WAS considering it being a game, but then I realised that games have to require SOME thinking and working out, in this, all you have to do is push a big green button. :P

Fun

Fun game, I like that you've put a lot of effort into it and the music is pretty cool too. I like the black & white stick man styling and this is a great idea. Overall, great job, this one is fun.

Happy Clock Day!

This was an interesting tutorial. The graphics were pretty good- I liked the look of the arrows, but it was annoying how you couldn't go forward ocne you reached the end, yet the arrow remained. A music selector would have been cool. Overall, a pretty good Flash tutorial.

This was a pretty interesting game. It got a little bit confusing at times, but for the most part it was very good. The graphics were pretty good and the music was pretty good as well, but it seemed like I was often repeating the same question over and over again, because the facts were oftentimes the same.

Pretty Good

A pretty good tutorial/quiz. The tutorial was cool, although the sound on/off feature was a bit confusing, because I thought that when it was when the red line was in front of the speaker, it meant sound off, not on. The quiz was an interesting feature. However, I got 6-7 questions right, and I have a gold whistle, not a silver whistle. Also, there maybe should have been some sort of menu, instead of everything being on that front page with the arrows. Overall, an interesting tutorial & quiz.

Maybe I should have been clearer about the sound button. If it displays the speaker with the line through it, that means the sound is currently ON but clicking it will turn it OFF.

The whistle you get from the quiz is based on how well you do, you could have a Garage whistle but still get Deity in the quiz.

In future I will include a menu.

Not Bad

This game was insanely hard; the second level on easy was hard. The presentation wasn't that good either; it seemed kind of... dated, for lack of a better word. The intro was a nice addition though. There should be main menu buttons on the pictures so that if you trouble you can go back to menu without closing off the window. Overall, not a bad game, it could just use some polish.

I will try to improve on all those points. I aint really got much motivation to carry on with number three. I'm working in other projects and it's a repetitive pattern scripting it all out.

Awesome

A very detailed scene creator. I think that this is an excellent game. The graphics were pretty good. One thing that you could add for the next time is different-sized bodies, heads, weapons, etc. for in thd distance. Also, maybe a music selection/stopper if we don't want to listen to it. Great job though.

1. You can change the music, and you can stop it too. There's 4 buttons; 1, 2, 3 and OFF, with those you can change or stop the music.
2. You can scale objects, to make them larger, or smaller. Hold down either the up or the down button to scale. Select what object to scale by clicking it while holding down the keyboard key!

[Choices: a poem]

Good idea

This is a good idea. The main menu didn't look very good, and neither did the Flash itself. But, I guess that's not really what this flash is about. The poem was good, and also having a 'Help' section was a good idea. Overall, a good idea, you just need to present it a little better.

I think that, together with the lack of animation, the presentation of my movie is probably the most commom complain it has... ironicly, since I actually gave a fair shot in the attempt to make things look interesting (the help menu, for example) and tried to polish things before submiting. But it's also an accurate comment, because even I could see that it had flaws when I submited. Thanks for the compliments and the review!

Cool

Ok, it was cool, but it would have been a lot better if O's disn't pop up in random boxes all over the place. Having one box that you could just play in would have been better. Still though, great graphics and music, cool introudction, and a great idea.

Not Bad

Graphics: Not bad, a little bit messy though
Sound: Three different choices of songs, the first two sound the same
Effort: Some, although it seems slightly rushed
Humour: None, it's a tutorial

I think that for your next tutorial you should probably put a little bit more effort into making it look aesthetically pleasing. The information is all good but it could look better. Also, try and get a bigger variety of songs, altohugh having multiple choices i awesome.

Well, if I used more flash, then people would complain about that too, so I kept it simple. I'd rather hear complaints over the lack of graphics than hear complaints that the graphics got in the way of the tutorials actual usefulness.
The first two are different songs by different bands, just listen to them both all the way through.
I took my time with this tutorial to make sure I included the proper steps.

Like I said, if I worked too hard on the graphics, then people would complain as it got in the way of the tutorial. Substance over flash for this and I believe 3 songs is enough. Its a tutorial, not a jukebox.
